By registering, accessing, or using the Platform as a shopper ("you", "user"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.
These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the services provided by Mocket ("Platform"). By using our website, app, and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
General:
- You must be 18 years or older to use our platform.
- You agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
- You are responsible for keeping your account information confidential and secure.
Platform Services:
- Marketplace: Our platform connects buyers and sellers to engage in transactions.
- Delivery Service: We facilitate the delivery of goods through a network of delivery partners.
- Partner Service: Sellers can register as partners to list their products on our platform.
Account Registration and Use
- You agree to provide accurate and complete information when creating an account and to keep your account information updated.
- Account security is your responsibility. You must keep your login credentials confidential and notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
- The Platform supports payments via traditional fiat methods and optionally via Web3 crypto wallets. Use of Web3 payment methods is optional and subject to the terms outlined herein.

- Users may add friends on the Platform and message only those users they have connected with.

- All content generated by users must comply with our content guidelines and not infringe on others’ rights.

Order Placement, Delivery, and Address Usage
- Orders must be placed through your registered account.
- You maintain an editable address book; a snapshot of your selected address at the time of order will be shared in obfuscated form with the last-mile courier for delivery purposes only.
- We do not store or share full address histories beyond what is necessary for current delivery.
- Delivery timelines and responsibilities are as specified by individual vendor policies and courier performance.
Payments, Fees and Web3 Wallets:
- Transactions on the platform are subject to payment processing fees, which may vary based on the service (buying, selling, delivery).
- You agree to pay all applicable fees for using the platform’s services, including transaction fees, delivery charges, etc.
- The Platform accepts payments in local fiat currency and optionally in supported cryptocurrencies through Web3 wallets.
- If you choose to pay via Web3 wallets, you acknowledge the risks including price volatility and irreversible blockchain transactions.
- Refunds for crypto payments will be processed in cryptocurrency and subject to the Platform’s refund policy.
- No digital wallet balances are maintained by the Platform; you must have your own compatible wallet.
Termination and Suspension
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account for violations of these Terms or misuse of the Platform, with or without notice.
Intellectual Property:
- All content on the platform (logos, graphics, text, etc.) is the property of Mocket or its licensors. You may not use it without permission.
Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability:
- We do not guarantee the accuracy or quality of products listed by third parties (partners).
- We are not responsible for any losses, damages, or disputes arising from transactions between buyers and sellers.
- Our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
- The platform provides services on an "as is" basis and does not guarantee uninterrupted service or error-free transactions.
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Platform, including losses from crypto payment volatility.
Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria and applicable West African regional agreements. Disputes will first be addressed via our internal support team. Unresolved cases shall proceed to mediation and then binding arbitration under Nigerian law or applicable international rules.
Changes to These Terms:
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page and in Platform with an updated "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
Refund and Return Policy
Refunds depend on the payment method and product vendor policies. Crypto payments are refundable in crypto only, subject to compliance with the refund policy. All refund requests must be initiated through the Platform's customer support and are subject to review and approval.

Refund and Return Policy

Volatility and Risks
Cryptocurrency prices can be highly volatile and may fluctuate between the time of payment and refund. You acknowledge and accept this risk when using Web3 payments on the Platform.
Irreversible Transactions
Blockchain transactions are final and cannot be reversed once confirmed. Refunds processed in cryptocurrency are subject to network confirmations and delays.
No Chargebacks
Crypto payments are not subject to traditional chargeback processes. Disputes must be resolved through the Platform’s support channels.
Wallet Responsibility
You are responsible for maintaining control of your Web3 wallet and its private keys. The Platform is not liable for lost or stolen wallets.
